May Plants at Knebworth Park

Take a look around Knebworth Park during Maytime and you won't be left disappointed. Many of the perennial borders are lush, green and full in readiness to bloom for the summer and there's plenty of interesting May flowering plants throughout both the gardens and woodlands that are stunning.

Take a little tour around to see the highlights in the garden in May...

Above - lush and green mixed perennial borders ready to burst into summer flower.

Below- A covered walkway with climbing honeysuckles, clematis and early flowering roses.

Bluebells, aquilega and tulips making a beautiful and scenic woodland display.

Tiarella spring symphony with its pale pink buds and white stars enjoying the pond area

Veronicas and campions fill vast wild areas in the open woodland spaces

Horse sculptures make for an interesting display in a the walled box courtyard

A superb display of purple alliums stand tall in front of Knebworth House

One of my favourites during May, wisteria weaving its way along a sunlit wall

A group of vivid blue irises - another May beauty

Early yellow roses flowering against a sunny and sheltered wall, fronted by pale white alliums
